It is a simple way of reward subscribers who takes better care of their phones. Users will earn 50% cashback credits each month. Cashback credits becomes withdrawable after 12 months via PayNow.
Note that existing cashback credits are forfeited whenever a repair claim is made on the protected phone. The subscriber continues earning cashback credits there after.
Cashback credits are distributed on the first day of each month in a 12-month cycle. For example, a subscription made on the 29 Feb 2020 will have S$5.00 cashback credited on 01 Mar 2020, 01 Apr 2020, .. and so on. If a claim is made on 15 Apr 2020, the existing cashback credits of S$10.00 will be forfeited. The subscriber continues to earn cashback credits from 01 May 2020 onward for the remaining 10 months (of a 12-month cycle). The cashback credits for the 12th month occurs on 01 Feb 2021 - on this day, the subscriber will be able to withdraw S$50.00 (S$5.00 x 10 months). if no other claim is made on the plan.
