Protect is a discounted repair plan that provides users with 80% off the cost of phone repairs by a verified merchant.


It is a monthly recurring plan that cost S$9.99/mo. Users who did not make a claim during the month will receive 50% cashback credits (equivalent to S$5.00). Cashback credits are withdraw-able via PayNow after 12 consecutive months. However, existing credits are forgone whenever a claim is being made.


Limitations

The app must be installed and mustn't be uninstalled. The plan will be void if the digital key-chain cannot be verified from the selected registered phone. 


The plan is only able to service damages that are repairable by our verified merchants. If your phone is misplaced, lost or stolen, you should try finding it using Find My iPhone (if it’s an iPhone), or Android Device Manager (for Android devices), 96 percent of lost smartphones were accessed by the finders of the devices. If phone is lost or misplaced, you may file a lost property report with the police, or if you phone is stolen, you must make a police reportIf your phone is deemed irretrievable, you should also cancel your subscription by speaking with us at chendol.com/chat.


Chendol is not responsible for any software or data issues. In most cases, software failures can be fixed by reloading your item’s operating system or firmware. Be sure to back up any data that you don’t want to lose before attempting to reload your operating system.


Users are entitled to a maximum of 1 every calendar month. The cost of each repair is capped at S$1000.00.


How to claim

You should claim through the app with the following steps ("Manage">"Claim"). Android and iOS version available at chendol.com/app. If the phone is not working, please consider using another phone to make the claim. Alternatively you may visit chendol.com/chat (verification is required).
